Dubai buyers are used to polished brands and fast service. They open three or four websites side by side, and the one that loads first, answers their questions and makes it easy to talk usually wins. A beautiful site that hides the price, the location or the WhatsApp button often loses to a plainer one that does not.

Here are the 12 things we build into every UAE business website, whether it runs on WordPress, Webflow or Shopify.

12 things a UAE business website needs

1. A clear first screen

Say what you do, for whom and where in one line, with one main button. “Family dental clinic in Dubai Marina, open on weekends” is better than a slogan.

2. English and Arabic, both done properly

Build each language as its own set of pages. Arabic needs a proper RTL layout, a readable Arabic font and copy written for Gulf readers.

3. One page per service

Each main service gets its own page with one H1, details, FAQs and a call to action. This is what ranks in Google and what AI assistants quote. It is the base of our SEO and GEO work.

4. Area and branch details

Name the emirates and areas you serve and show each branch with a map, hours for the Saturday and Sunday weekend and a phone number.

5. Prices or starting prices

Price is one of the first things UAE buyers look for. A range or “starting from” price in AED filters out bad fits and builds trust.

6. Proof

Real projects, reviews, certifications and team photos. Use only results you can show, and ask clients for permission first.

7. WhatsApp everywhere

A WhatsApp button on every screen with a pre-filled message, plus a short form that lets visitors choose more than one service.

8. Fast on mobile

Compress images, limit scripts and test Core Web Vitals. Speed affects rankings and how many visitors stay.

9. Structured data

Add schema for your organization, local business, services, FAQs and articles, matching what is visible on the page.

10. Tracking from launch

Connect Google Analytics 4, Search Console and the Meta Pixel with the Conversions API, and track WhatsApp clicks, calls and forms with the source of each lead. This makes Meta Ads far more efficient.

11. Payments that fit the UAE

For online stores, offer the options UAE shoppers expect, such as cards, Apple Pay and buy now pay later, with prices in AED and clear delivery and return terms.

12. Privacy and business details

Publish a privacy policy and handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. Show your trade name and contact details clearly.

Which platform?

WordPress suits service and content-led sites, Webflow suits design-led brands, and Shopify suits online stores. We compare them in detail in our article on choosing a website platform, and the same logic applies in the UAE.

What it can deliver

For an interior design studio we work with, a new bilingual site built on these rules brought 13 qualified leads in its first 30 days with no ads. Read the case study, see our website development service, or run the free website and Meta Ads checker.

Design for an international audience

Dubai and the wider UAE bring together residents, tourists and companies from many countries. A good website respects that: clear English as the base, a full Arabic version, simple wording that non-native speakers understand, and prices, dates and phone formats that match local habits. Avoid long walls of text and idioms. Use headings that tell people at a glance what you do, where you work and what to do next. If you serve a specific community, add a short section in their language or mention the languages your team speaks.

Speed, hosting and Core Web Vitals

Google measures how quickly the main content appears, how soon a page responds to a tap and whether the layout jumps while loading. These are called Core Web Vitals, and they reflect what visitors feel. To score well, serve compressed modern image formats at the right size, avoid loading large video or slider scripts above the fold, use a quality host or CDN close to your visitors, and remove plugins or scripts you do not use. Check the result on a mid-range phone, not only on a fast office laptop. Our free website speed test is a good first check.

Lead capture: forms, WhatsApp and calls

Most UAE customers prefer to message first, so make WhatsApp the main action and keep a call button and a short form as alternatives. Put the contact options in the header, after the first section of every service page, and at the end of articles. Ask for the minimum in the form: name, phone or email, and what they need. Confirm the submission on screen, send the details to the right person and reply quickly. Track every contact as a conversion in Google Analytics so you can see which pages and campaigns produce real enquiries.

Trust signals that convert in Dubai

Because the market is crowded, visitors look for proof quickly. Show your real team and premises, your trade licence details where relevant, genuine client reviews, and examples of finished work with the client’s permission. Explain how you work in three or four simple steps, state what is included in a price or how pricing works, and make your policies easy to find. Small details such as a consistent business name, a local phone number and an address that matches your Google Business Profile reduce doubt for both visitors and search engines.

SEO and GEO foundations

A website that ranks has a clear structure: one page per main service, each with a single H1, a descriptive title, a unique meta description, helpful content and internal links to related pages. Add structured data for your organisation, services, FAQs and articles, keep a sitemap, and make sure every important page can be crawled. For AI assistants, state your facts plainly on the page and keep them consistent across your profiles. Read how this works in our SEO and GEO service and in the guide to SEO in Dubai and the UAE.

Maintenance and security after launch

A website is not finished at launch. Keep the platform, theme and plugins updated, run regular backups that you can actually restore, use strong passwords with two-factor sign-in, and monitor uptime so you hear about problems before customers do. Review your analytics every month, update outdated pages, and add new content for the questions customers keep asking. A site that is maintained keeps its rankings and its credibility, while a neglected one slowly loses both.

A launch checklist for UAE sites

  • Arabic and English versions are complete, linked and checked on phones.
  • Every page has one H1, a unique title and a unique meta description.
  • Forms, the WhatsApp button and call links work and reach the right person.
  • Analytics, Search Console and conversion tracking are connected.
  • Images are compressed and have descriptive alt text.
  • Privacy policy, contact details and business information are visible and consistent.

If you want a site built this way, see our website development service, and when it is ready to bring in visitors, pair it with Meta Ads so every page has a reason to be seen.

Cost, timeline and what affects both

A website’s cost and timeline depend on a few clear factors: the number of pages, whether it needs Arabic and English, custom features such as booking or product filters, integrations with CRM, payments or WhatsApp, and how ready your content is. The biggest cause of delay is usually content and approvals, not design, so prepare your text, photos and decision makers early. A simple business site can be planned in phases, launching the essential pages first and adding blog and extra features after. Ask for the scope, the timeline and what is included in writing before work starts, and keep a short list of what you will provide and by when.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to build a business website in Dubai?

A focused service website usually takes a few weeks from content to launch. Larger bilingual sites and online stores take longer, mostly because of content and product data.

Should prices be shown on a UAE website?

Where possible, yes. A price range or starting price in AED answers one of the first questions buyers ask and filters out poor-fit enquiries.

Do I need a separate Arabic website?

You need Arabic pages, not a separate site. Build them on the same domain, with proper RTL design, and link each to its English version.

What platform do you recommend for UAE businesses?

WordPress for service and content-led businesses, Webflow for design-led brands, and Shopify for online stores.

Do you accept clients from other countries?

Yes. We are happy to accept clients worldwide. We work remotely in Arabic and English by calls and WhatsApp.
