Most clinics we speak to in Saudi Arabia have the same story. They pay for Instagram ads every month, bookings stop when the budget stops, and when a patient asks Google or ChatGPT for “the best botox doctor in Riyadh”, another clinic’s name comes up.
This guide is the plan we follow to change that. It is based on our own work with an aesthetic clinic that went from no website to the first clinic ChatGPT recommends for its main treatments. Your team or any agency can do everything here.
How patients choose a clinic in Saudi Arabia today
A patient looking for a filler, laser or dental treatment rarely makes one search. The usual path:
- They search Google or Google Maps for the treatment and their district, in Arabic or English.
- They open two or three clinic profiles and check reviews, photos and prices, then visit Instagram to see real results.
- More and more, they ask ChatGPT or Google’s AI Mode to compare clinics before they decide.
- They message the clinic that looks the most trusted and answers fastest on WhatsApp.
A clinic therefore has to be visible in four places at once: Google search, Google Maps, Instagram and AI answers. Ads alone only cover one of them.
Before you start: advertise within the rules
Health advertising in Saudi Arabia is regulated. Check the Ministry of Health’s current requirements with your licensing team, advertise only services and practitioners your clinic is licensed for, avoid guaranteed results, and get patient consent before publishing any photo, review or case. Meta has its own health and beauty ad policies, so keep wording factual.
Step 1: Make Google Maps your front door
For “near me” and “in Riyadh” searches, Google shows the map pack first, so your Google Business Profile is often the first thing a patient sees.
- Use your real clinic name, exactly as on your sign and website.
- Choose the most specific primary category and add secondary categories for your main services.
- List each treatment as a service, and add opening hours, a WhatsApp number and a booking link.
- Upload real photos monthly, ask every satisfied patient for a review and reply to each one.

Step 2: Build a fast site with one page per treatment
Patients search for treatments, not for “services”. A page called “Botox in Riyadh” can rank for botox searches; one page listing twenty treatments usually ranks for none. Give each main treatment its own page in Arabic and English, with:
- An H1 with the treatment and city.
- Who it is for, how it works, how long it takes and how long results last.
- The doctor who performs it, with credentials and a photo.
- A price range or “starting from” price, if your policy allows.
- Five to eight short FAQs written the way patients ask them.
Write the Arabic page in Arabic from the start, with the words Saudi patients actually type. Most searches happen on mobile, so keep the site light, show the WhatsApp button on every screen and keep forms to name, phone and treatment. Our website development service builds clinic sites on this model.

Step 3: Get recommended by ChatGPT and AI search
AI assistants answer “who is the best…” questions by reading websites, reviews and directories. To be the clinic they name, your facts must be clear and consistent:
- State on your home and about pages who your doctors are, their specialties and the cities you serve.
- Use the same clinic name, phone and address everywhere.
- Answer real treatment questions in Arabic and English, and add structured data for the clinic, doctors, services and FAQs.
- Check every month what ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode say for your main treatments.

Step 4: Use Meta Ads to fill the calendar now
SEO and GEO take months. Meta Ads on Instagram and Facebook can bring enquiries this week, and the two work best together.
- Run one campaign per main treatment so you can see the cost per enquiry for each.
- Send ads to WhatsApp or the matching treatment page, not the home page.
- Target the districts you really serve and write in the audience’s language.
- Use real clinic videos and doctor explanations, and move budget weekly to the lowest cost per booking.

Step 5: Track every message and measure monthly
Set up Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console on day one, track clicks on WhatsApp, phone and form buttons as conversions, and ask every new patient how they found you. Each month review Google clicks, Maps calls and messages, AI mentions for your prompt list, WhatsApp conversations, bookings and cost per booking. Improve what brings bookings and drop what does not.
Your first 90 days
| Period | Focus | What gets done |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1 to 30 | Foundation | Google profile completed, tracking set up, keyword and prompt research, Meta Ads for 2 or 3 main treatments |
| Days 31 to 60 | Pages | Treatment pages in Arabic and English, doctor profiles, FAQs, structured data, review requests |
| Days 61 to 90 | Growth | Blog posts for top patient questions, mentions on trusted sites, first AI visibility report, budget moved to the best treatments |
Results build over months, not days, and competitive cities can take longer, which is why the ads run alongside. Want us to do it for you? See our SEO and GEO services for clinics or read the full clinic case study.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best marketing channel for a clinic in Saudi Arabia?
There is no single channel. Patients move between Google Maps, Google search, Instagram, AI assistants and WhatsApp, so clinics do best with Meta Ads for quick bookings plus SEO and GEO for long-term free patient flow.
Are clinics allowed to advertise in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, within the rules. Health advertising is regulated, so check the Ministry of Health's current requirements, advertise only licensed services and avoid claims you cannot support.
How many treatment pages does a clinic website need?
One for each main treatment you want patients to find, in Arabic and English. Start with the treatments that bring the most revenue or enquiries.
How do I know which channel brings patients?
Track WhatsApp, call and form clicks as conversions in Google Analytics 4, ask every new patient how they found you, and review enquiries and bookings by channel every month.
Is this guide free?
Yes. You can read it here for free and download the PDF version with the full checklist.
Do you accept clients from other countries?
Yes. We are happy to accept clients worldwide. We work remotely in Arabic and English by calls and WhatsApp.
